Last night, Derrick Rose took over the 4th quarter for the Bulls against the Raptors. He ended the game with 25 points, 10 assists, and only 1 turnover. The Bulls actually had some good coaching going on as they continuously exploited lead-footed Andrea Bargnani on the pick-and-roll in the 4th quarter. DRose hit layup after layup, punctuated by a few hot jump shots.
Of course, Toronto is now 16-24, so it’s not like this win proves that the Bulls can hang with anyone on an elite level in the NBA. But it is at least a game they had the chance to win, and got the job done. This was also another find example of Derrick Rose asserting himself as the first option for the Bulls when the game is on the line. This is awesome because they’ve been looking for someone like that for a while. Before, it was Ben Gordon, and while he’s good at getting his shot off at the end of games, he’s not as good at getting to the hoop as Rose, and so he’s easier to guard in those situations. You know Gordon is going to be looking for a three-pointer or a long two, but with Rose, you think he’s probably going to drive, but he can still pull up and hit some longer range jump shots.
In honor of Derrick Rose dominating the Raptors in the 4th quarter, I present you with a Derrick Rose sized gallery (okay, this one is really more like Aaron Gray sized) of the not-quite-as-spectacular-as-DRose Ms. Tiffany Rose.
Enjoy.

She also goes by Tiffany Diamond. Let’s just say I’ve seen her engage in certain activities with rose “stems” in various places.
Well, in my search for pictures, I also happened to see some of those “stems.”
I’ve got a few more Roses to come, but if Derrick Rose keeps playing the way he has, I might have to find a few more.
