So this guy at NPR thinks Thor is a jerk, but really, the dude is a god. I mean, when you command thunder (or other such powerful things), there’s got to be a little bit of ego involved. You can’t really have Toby Maguire’s humble-bashful Spiderman telling thunder what to do, and having a day named after him, right?* That takes some cahones. So, of course he’s going to come off a bit like an ass sometimes (or most of the time). Kind of like Christian Bale’s Batman.
More important, though, is:
On Monday, Marvel Studios announced that Natalie Portman has been added to the cast of the upcoming big-budget Thor flick, scheduled to begin production early next year. She’ll play “an updated version” of Jane Foster, a character who served as love interest for both the God of Thunder and his earthly alter-ego, Dr. Don Blake, back in the Thor comic’s early years.
Because it gives me an excuse to do this:

The rest of the gallery isn’t that great except for the pictures from Closer because it was damned hard to find any pictures (let alone decent ones) of Ms. Portman’s derierre. But, we take what we can get, right?
